How much does porta potty rental cost in Raleigh?
Price depends on the unit and how long you keep it. A standard porta potty rental sits at a different level than a deluxe flushable porta potty or a full restroom trailer rental. Here's the plain version, and our porta potty rental cost page breaks it down further.
| Unit | Day | Week | Month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 150 | 200 | 200 |
| ADA accessible | 230 | 185 | - |
| Deluxe flushable | 300 | 250 | - |
Delivery is billed on top, typically around 150 dollars for a single-day drop. Want a monthly figure without the day math? Our monthly porta potty rental and per-day pricing pages spell it out. What porta potties can I rent?
Start with the workhorse. The standard portable toilet covers most job sites and outdoor jobs. A standard unit carries a 60 to 70 gallon holding tank and sits about 44 by 48 inches on the ground, so it fits tight lots. It stands about 92 inches tall, which matters under low branches or a carport.
Want something nicer? The deluxe flushable unit adds a flush and a sink. For weddings and upscale events, a luxury restroom trailer is the fancy option, with 2 stall, 4 stall and 8 stall layouts. Need a shower too? We rent a shower trailer. And for wheelchair access, the ADA accessible porta potty meets the 60 inch turning circle required under ADA Standards section 304.3.1. Some folks call it a porta john or a portable restroom; same equipment.

How many porta potties do I need?
On a construction site, OSHA 1926.51(c)(1) sets the count: one toilet for 20 workers or fewer, then a toilet and urinal per 40 workers above that. Our OSHA portable toilet requirements guide walks the whole table, and the how many porta potties page does the same for events.
For events, plan around crowd size and hours, and put a unit near food and near exits. The porta potty placement guide covers spacing and access. Where crews apply paints, coatings or herbicides, OSHA 1926.51(f)(1) requires washing facilities, so add a handwashing station or a portable sink. Under 29 CFR 1910.141(d)(2), that sink needs soap and towels; sanitizer alone doesn't count, though a hand sanitizer station is a good extra. See the handwashing requirements page for the details.

How often do you service the units?
Baseline service is one visit per week for up to 10 users over a 40 hour week, which is the ANSI/PSAI Z4.3 standard interval. Busy sites and big events get more. Our cleaning schedule page explains what a service visit includes.
Every visit we pump the tank, refill supplies and wipe it down. That's how we keep odor down, and the how porta potties work page shows what the blue treatment actually does. Winter changes the routine a little, and the porta potty in winter page covers freeze protection. If a unit gets knocked over or a tank fills early, emergency porta potty rental gets a truck out fast. We also handle septic pumping and grease trap pumping, so one call covers the sanitation side of a site.

Do I need a permit to place a porta potty in Raleigh?
On your own property, usually not. If the unit sits in the public right of way, a street or a sidewalk in Raleigh, that placement needs confirming with the city before delivery. We don't guess at local rules. Check with the City of Raleigh, and read our porta potty permit requirements page first.
Dumpsters in the street can trigger a separate approval, so the dumpster permit requirements page is worth a look if you're pairing a roll-off dumpster with your toilets. A roll-off delivery needs about 60 feet of straight clearance behind the truck, so clear the drive. We serve the whole metro from Raleigh out to Knightdale, 10.7 miles east, Garner, 15.6 miles south, and Apex, 18.6 miles southwest. The service areas page lists every town, and Wake Forest, 15.0 miles northeast, and Morrisville, 16.1 miles west, each have their own page. Before your rental starts, run through the porta potty rental checklist.
Which porta potty rental company should I call in Raleigh?
Call Raleigh Porta Pros. We rent standard units, deluxe flushable units and restroom trailers, plus temporary fencing and storage containers. One company, one invoice. Start on the contact page or read about us.
What is the cheapest porta potty rental option?
A standard unit is the cheapest, at about 150 dollars a day, with weekly and monthly rates that lower the per-day cost. A luxury restroom trailer costs more because it flushes and has running water. The restroom trailer rental cost page compares them.
Can I rent a fancy porta potty for a wedding?
Yes. For a wedding, most people skip the basic unit and book a luxury restroom trailer or a wedding restroom rental. It has climate control, real sinks and interior lighting. A deluxe flushable porta potty is a lower-cost step up from standard.
How fast can you deliver in Raleigh?
Same day or next day for most of Raleigh in normal conditions. Storm cleanup and big festivals book out faster, so call early. For urgent needs we run emergency porta potty rental and emergency septic service. Reach us on the request a quote page.
